Trail Building
Members of FAT Builders ,SCUMB and SCC youth led by Bob Stanhope worked on CF Saturday.
The bridges are now decked at the lower creek crossing and the trail is cut and covered part way up the upper deactivated road.
There is a real sense of accomplishment when we get a good sized crew on a day like yesterday. Making the big trail fest completion day of June 5 seem more like a reality than when we first hiked and started the rough-in process last fall.
Over the next twoSaturdays, May 22 & 29, we still need to finish the ground work to the upper creek crossing.
On June 5th we will all meet at the HMB firehall at 9am and divide into two work groups.
One group will be led by Rod and work their way down from the top of the trail.
I will lead the second group from the bottom with both groups meeting for the big Fireball celebration at the Cabin.
