The Gibsons Grind
The Gibsons Grind is a Gran Fondo type ride held in late June each year. It is a self paced ride that takes place on paved roads. It starts at the Langdale ferry terminal in Gibsons and winds its way to highway 101. From there the only difference between the 110, 70 and 50 km routes is how far they go out the highway. The BC Bike Race
The BC Bike Race is a seven day mountain bike stage race held in British Columbia, Canada. It is traditionally held during the week of Canada Day (July 1). The BC Bike Race claims to have the most singletrack riding of any similar multi-day race. Each year, the BC Bike Race route changes, but has always included Vancouver Island, the Sunshine Coast, and the Sea to Sky Corridor.
